Lucky is 10 years old (which makes him sugared because of his gray hairs) and weighs 60 pounds. He has had all of his shots and is heart worm free, making him completely ready to go to his forever home! Could it be with you? Read on to find out.
He has a very sweet disposition and he loves to socialize. His foster mom says that he thinks every person they pass on their walks are there to pet him, which is why he is our social butterfly!
If high energy puppies are not your jam, you will love Lucky. His foster mom says that he is very calm, laid back and chill.
He is a snuggle bug who loves attention and chin rubs. He can also be a big goof, which makes him even more lovable!
Lucky  loves children and other dogs, and he has no issues with cats, so whether your family includes smaller humans or other furry friends, he could make a wonderful addition if personalities mesh well.
He loves to go for walks and does well on the leash. Lucky is also house trained.
His foster mom says that he very rarely barks, which combined with his calm nature, could make him a good canine companion for someone in a smaller home such as an apartment, condo or townhome, as long as he gets to enjoy daily walkies!
Lucky’s favorite toys are stuffed squeaky toys. He is also a foodie; his foster mom says that he loves to eat and that he is very food motivated.
Do you love velcro dogs? Then you will love sweet Lucky. Lucky’s foster mom says that he is extremely loyal. He is always in the room where she is and he chooses to sleep on the floor beside her bed, even though he has a bed of his own. During thunder storms he prefers to sleep in her bed though, as he is afraid of rain and thunder.
He spends most of the day home alone due to his foster mom’s schedule. She would love to see him adopted by a family with a staggered schedule so that he has someone to keep him company more, or children to play with, or with a retired person who is home often since he is so social.
If Lucky sounds like the right match for your family, apply to adopt him today! He cannot wait to meet you either <3
If Lucky has left paw prints on your heart but you cannot adopt him, please consider sharing his information on social media to help him find his forever home and donating towards his care while he waits for his forever family to find him.
